I have entered the Imagine Cup Software Design challenge twice.
In 2006, I was part of team Lost Boys, with Ben Noble and Stephen Pugh. Our product was Salveo, which monitored calorie intake and expenditure, and aimed to guide the user towards a healthier lifestyle. Salveo made use of on-body devices and an online database of nutritional information. We got to the top 10 in the UK, and competed at the UK final at Microsoft's headquarters in Thames Valley Park, Reading.
In 2007, I was part of team Comp-U-Teach, with Simon Stringer. Our product was World Class, which aims to bring classrooms across the world together, using webcams and streaming audio. We achieved second place in the UK Imagine Cup, and each won an Xbox 360.
